Joan of Arc - In This Moment

Background Summary
Voltaire was raised by the clergy, and by age 18 he was accepted into the inner circle of Father Baranov. He began studying to become a priest, while attending Father Baranov's business meetings and became one of his personal assistants. Over the course of the next five years, Voltaire would meet X; who is one of the city's biggest players. The two became close, much to Voltaire's chagrin, before X suffered a nearly fatal shooting and disappeared back into the shadows of the city.
Almost twenty years later, Voltaire and X meet again. Voltaire, who has been living on his own for the latter half of the past decade, has been slowly working his way down the list of people who have wronged him. Methodically carrying out thoughtfully crafted assasinations, each catered towards the greatest sin the perpetrator has committed. X just happens to be another name on that list, but it seems Voltaire greatly overestimated his ability to take him down, or rather, he underestimated just how strong X really is.
