I've been so focused on fulfilling orders and designing new products that I haven't sat down and worked on my site in a few weeks. Did I go into the Minecraft movie expecting greatness? No. Was it good? Also no.

The whole thing felt like someone's greenscreened YouTube skit. Is it possible for something to be Too HD? Because that's how I felt watching these hyperrealistic characters interact with their 3D environment. Not to say the CGI was bad, because it wasn't, but there was a hard divide between the actors and the world they were supposed to be in.

Other than technical critiques, I found the story entertaining enough, the characters themselves were written well. They had clear wants and motivations and each felt unique. Although, I felt like the women in the film were severely overlooked. The film literally separating them from the men in the second act and only reuniting them when the men needed someone to provide care...
